EPiSODE 325: The Sleeper Must Awaken.

The Pink Smoke's John Cribbs joins a veritable all-star cast of celebrated guest hosts on the Wrong Reel podcast to discuss the virtues and deficiencies, the production and legacy, the scope and the madness of David Lynch's much-villified film version of the classic space opera Dune.

Joining host James Hancock are Flixwise: Canada's Martin Kessler, Pinnland Empire's Marcus Pinn and I Don't Get It's Bill Scurry. Along with Cribbs, they reflect on their personal memories of the movie as well as what each person thinks works and doesn't work about Lynch's spicy adaptation under the banner of Dino and Raffaella De Laurentiis. As for those put off by talk of stillsuits, wormsigns and Kwisatz Haderachs, the guys also go beyond the geekiness to discuss Lynch's larger filmography and the possible future of Frank Herbert's beloved franchise.
